Short version: the tools are free and provided as they are, your files never leave your device, and you are responsible for the files you use and for checking important results before you rely on them.
Using the tools
- The tools are free for personal and commercial work, with no limit on the number of files.
- Use them only with files you have the right to use. Don't use them to forge, alter or misrepresent official documents, IDs or photos.
- Results depend on your files and your device. Check anything important before you send, print or delete: an official photo, a document for a form, a compressed PDF. Keep your originals.
- Official photo rules (passports, visas) are set by the issuing authorities. The passport photo page explains which ones allow a photo you crop yourself; the authority's decision is final.
- The tools are provided "as is", without a guarantee that they'll always work, be error-free or suit a particular purpose.
Your files
Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded, so this site never has a copy of them and can't recover them for you. Downloaded results are saved by your browser like any other download.
Open-source software
The tools use open-source libraries under their own licences, listed on Open-source licences. Their authors are not responsible for this site.
Names and trademarks
Names of file formats, apps, devices and companies (for example iPhone, Windows, Android, PDF) are used only to describe which files and devices a tool works with. KeepLocalHub has no connection with their owners.
