How to use it

  1. Choose a Recipe, for example Photos for email or Phone scans to one PDF.
  2. Open Check or change the steps (under the drop box) if you want a different format, size limit or file names.
  3. Drop your photos or a whole folder, or press Choose files. Every photo is processed straight away, on your device.
  4. Press Download all to get everything in one ZIP file, or Download on single files.
  5. To use the same steps again, type a Recipe name and press Save as my recipe. It appears under My recipes, with a star, next time you open this page in this browser.

What a recipe does, in order

  • Reads each photo: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC from iPhones, GIF, BMP and more, and turns it upright.
  • Resizes it so the longest side is at most the number you set. It never makes a photo bigger.
  • Saves it in the format you chose. With a size limit, each file gets its own quality so it lands just under the limit.
  • Keeps or removes photo details (date, camera, location) as you chose.
  • Names the file from your pattern, and, if you ticked it, puts all of them into one PDF.

Your own recipes and recipe links

Saved recipes stay in this browser only (its local storage), never on this site. To use a recipe on another device, or to give it to a colleague, press Copy a link to this recipe. The link carries the steps after the # sign, which browsers don't send to any server, and never any of your files.

Clearing your browser data deletes your saved recipes, so keep a link to the ones you rely on.

Questions

How many photos can I process at once?
There's no set limit. Photos are processed a few at a time so your device doesn't run out of memory; a phone handles hundreds, a computer thousands. Very large photos take longer.
Can I keep the original file names?
Yes: leave File names as {name}. When two files would get the same name, a number is added, for example photo (1).jpg.
Why can't WebP or AVIF go into the PDF?
PDF files can only hold photos as JPG or PNG directly. Choose JPG (or PNG) in the steps, and the PDF option becomes available.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser, and the results are made on your device. See how to check it yourself.
